Overthinking Kills The Flower: Movement & Confidence

Overthinking, like overwatering a plant, will eventually kill our confidence, the little we may have to spare.

Our first spark of confidence may have come from a vision so enchanting, we imagined and desired the possibilities of us becoming the version of ourselves who can achieve such daring dreams. How will I bring this vision to life? Do I have what it takes? What if I fail?

During the beginning process of mapping out our master plan, we may come across many beautiful thoughts — some authentic and some hyped up by our competitive eagerness to be on top.

More and more thoughts and creative strategies may come over time. And they can be so enticing, seducing us down the never-ending rabbit hole of “What If’s?”

What if I am not capable of losing enough weight? What if I am not capable of making a living? What if I become an outsider?

However, until we activate Movement, taking the first steps, we risk Over-watering our visions and dreams. Prematurely killing the flower of confidence that sprung from the soils of our heart and its most sincere desires.
